Reservoirs read carefully.

Linda Echikh, P.Geo.

Independent petrophysical and geological support for the upstream oil and gas sector. Fourteen of the last thirty years spent at Sproule and Ryder Scott, signing the kind of numbers a board has to defend.

Linda Echikh, P.Geo.

A petrophysicist and geologist who has been reading logs since 1993, and who signs her own work.

Dunes Science Consulting is an independent practice. What that buys a client is someone who engages and consults with them at every stage of the project, with the deadline kept in view from the first conversation to the signed report.

The bulk of the last two decades was spent inside two names a Calgary reserves buyer already knows. Eight years at Sproule as Senior Petroleum Geologist and Petrophysicist, leading the assessment of geological, petrophysical and production characteristics of reservoirs. Six years before that at Ryder Scott, preparing year-end reserve and resource reports and reserve updates for securities-commission requirements, acquisitions and divestitures.

The work spans clastics and carbonates across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, and projects in more than thirty countries beyond it: Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Siberia, Uzbekistan and the United States among them.

It is desk work. Evaluation happens at a computer, not at a wellsite, so location is not a constraint on who she can work for.

A short description of the scope is enough to start. You will get a straight answer on fit, method and turnaround before any commitment.
